Studying at FSU’s Animation and Digital Arts program begins with the college’s core curriculum of film history, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, CG and live action production, editing and sound. I then learned the technical sides of modern filmmaking through the likes of modeling, compositing, character development, 3D animation, stop motion, visual effects cinematography, visual effects production management, texturing and rendering.
AA (Graphic Design)
With a focus on new and emerging technology, the two-years in the Graphic Design Technology program prepared me for successful entry into the rapidly changing, highly competitive computer graphics design industry. This gave us a professional edge in such key areas as:
-Using computer software to efficiently design new images or modify existing ones
-Solving real-world advertising problems and carrying projects from concept to completion
-Employing the full range of print, web and electronic media to create art that meets client needs
-Analyzing client needs, conducting research and developing concepts for production within a budget
